[2.0.15] Stuck in Train & Remote View, Cannot Open Main Menu

Post by MetalMichael »

Platform: Windows
Version: 2.0.15
Mods: [base, elevated rails, quality, space age]

I was on a space platform, travelling to Vulcanus, and then back to Nauvis, before heading to Aquilo for the first time.

Whilst at Vulcanus I used remote view back to Nauvis to modify a double-headed train (upgrading from L-C-C-L to L-C-C-C-C-L). When placing the ghost train carriage (C) and locomotive (L), the train became disconnected, so was instead (L-C , C-C-C-L). So, I used the remote drive of the train to connect the two with the hotkey. The route disappeared from the train, so I set it again, and then went back to remote view, and flew back to Nauvis, and then to Aquilo.

Whilst on the way to Aquilo I tried to remote view back to Nauvis. This worked, however it immediately took me back into driving the train, which was unusual. Okay, I could just press "Esc" and then look around back to where I wanted. When I was done, I pressed escape again, and back to Remote view on my spaceship.

Now the more unusual part, when pressing "Esc" on my space ship, I go back to remotely driving on Nauvis Again.
This loops forever, Spaceship --(esc)-> Remote Train --(esc)--> Spaceship --(esc)-> Remote Train

I haven't been able to replicate this exactly, but I do have the autosave where the loop occurred, attached. Somebody understanding the remote view logic might be able to better understand how/what happened, and be able to reproduce and fix.
