Trash unrequested with quality doesn't work properly with infinite

I want to use "trash unrequested" but keep certain quality items I may already have in my inventory. I set up a seperate logistic request for "> normal quality" to prevent them from being trashed. It currently forces it to trash when it's set to infinity (attempting to put it from trash back into inventory always places it back in trash slots):

Workaround - if I give it any kind of maximum it stops autotrashing it:
