Steps to reproduce:
1) Have a station with Train Limit set to 1
2) Have two (or more) trains which have this station as destination
3) Make sure one train starts moving towards it, so this station becomes "full"
4) During this movement, remove this destination from train schedule so it stops
What happens:
Other trains will not move to this station, because it is still considered full
What should be:
Station should be "released" so other trains could move to it.
Workaround:
Removing the locomotive releases the station.

I think the "so it stops" in your step 4 implies that this is when you remove the last stop in the schedule (ie so it becomes empty), which is the scenario in 104381 and IIRC was the only way I found to reproduce it, but it was a while ago. So this may or may not be a duplicate, and if it is not a duplicate, it is unclear from Rseding's reply if it is fixed for 2.0.
Re: [1.1.91] Train station is not "released" when removed from schedule
Yep, looks like a duplicate. Rechecked my save where this originally happened, and bug occures only when removing the last remaining stop which has already been reserved for this train. I assume that is because there is just nothing to switch further to (even if there is another unreachable station, bug does not happen).
Also, switching the train to "Manual" mode releases the station.
