Big Biter sprite instead of "loading sprites"

You could create a "set" where it has one of a sprite of a factory, mining drill, oil refinery, research lab, furnace and boiler

One that has a row of each belt wrapped around it.

Just some ideas :)

Congratulations on your upcoming wedding :)

T-Shirts:
I love the Factorio art, would be thrilled to see

... a shirt with the Factorio tank exiting a scene of devastation with biters hot on its heels...
... or the Factorio train artwork that I'm currently using as my desktop
... or power armor overlooking a majestic pollution pumping factory

Let's use this biter rider from the New Year FF:

It would be awesome to see it on the T-shirt.

"Adding manpower to a late software project makes it later" -- Fred Brooks

But actually, I think in the long run it'll be a good thing to have more programmers testing and verifying the code. I can be patient. ;)

The Factorio shirt...certainly "Loading sprites" is recognizable, but is it really what you want representing the game? :P

I'm sad. I was looking forward to 0.12 singleplayer this weekend. Next weekends I will unfortunately have no time, so I have to wait even longer now. :?

For the Shirts i think, there have to be a Shirt with the Factorio sign and under it an Inserter.

Now the Inserter can putt Factorio in my Head :D

And i Think it is better to fix the Problems of 0.12 before you make it puplic. Thats the right Way. Go on. :)

Ever written a single line of code or any project of moderate complexity?

It's delay, delay, and more delay.

If I could choose, I'd say "Just release a 0.12 preview with Multiplayer disabled", giving us the chance to find issues in singleplayer while ignoring the desync-issues.

But, I'm happy about the great work you have done with this genious game!!! It was worth every cent, and tbh far more ;-)

Also, good luck with your wedding, I wish you a wonderfull future with the lucky lady and a ton of happy and healthy kids ;-)

Congrats on the upcoming wedding! Get well soon and enjoy it!

As for the t-shirt, how about:
"Let's wreck someone else's planet for a change", or
"Go big or go home", or
"Power armor lets you play on the train track", or
"Is that a locomotive in your pocket?"

First off Congrats are in order I assume.
For the merchandise im in the camp that tells you you should be careful with the merchandise what do you want to be seen quite publicly from factorio?
I would go with an inserter that grabs something from a belt, something that puts the essence of Factorio and is easily distinguishable and fits into the factorio theme.

The loading bar might be more of an inside joke and might get the wrong impression on people that are not aware what factorio is.

As for not releasing .12 again, I admit I am a bit dissapointed but can understand the sentiment to a degree although im on of those people that does not play MP at all so for me it was a delay with a reason that had no value to me, still its understandable.

While I applaud how thorough you guys are with fixing bugs I think sometimes having a faster iterration time and releasing an unstable build (experimentals anyone?) with the clear warning each time you LOAD THE GAME that its experimental and saves might corrupt and its prone to crashing that is not skipable would do just fine.

Like having an experimental and stable branch where the experimental has a faster iteration time then currently.
