I just went to test for you. They do take damage from tesla guns, but if there is any stun/slowdown effect, i wasnt able to see it. Its definitly not useful to kill them.
They isn't any stun/slowdown effect , but as far as i played, it's not necessary to kill the worms :D Telsa turrets can be very effective on worms because the electric arc can bounce of off the different segment of the worms, and inflict several times the damage indicated in the tooltip.
I found out that placing ten tesla turrets (obviously supplied with power) directly behind a medium demolisher were easily able to kill it before it could turn around to retaliate.

Against large demolishers that's most likely not enough, though.

it also depend on the quality of the turrets and the research damage , i was able to kill medium demolisher too with teslas, but for the big one there's better weapon from another planet than Fulgora which i think is more adapted :D

Damn that's a very specific scenario you'd have to get into  did you manage that in a regular game or a test world with cheats? I'd assume the demolisher would immediatly attempt to destory the power supply you built on its turf.

Legendary Big Power Poles can help with that one, and a bunch of Tesla Turrets can kill a Big Demolisher quite easily.
Don't underestimate Landmines!
Biters bite, Spitters spit, Spawners spawn and Worms... worm? - No, they throw their vomit! They even wind up to directly hurl it at you! friggin Hurlers...

You can lure them quite far away from their territory to kill them if you throw them a rocket in the face every now and then, if you lose the agro they will retreat to it, causing sometimes a 180° turn, or a 90° one which can be taken advantage of to protect the power supply of your kill zone.

Tested in game ! 3/4 of the times it works without problems everytime !

A worm destroying half a base is going to be quite suspicious in the log of the server though , that's a quick way to get ban, and in a way let the worm win x)
