It's great that Factorio is getting some international love.
Could we get native support for all keyboard layouts? Like AZERTY, DVORAK, etc. Many game have it nowaydays by default.
Unless it happened at some point and I didn't notice it.

PAX East, ah, I can't make that, bummer.
Maybe also do PAX West when the time comes? I could definitely take a trip to Seattle!

Yeah, I've been wondering if I'd see them at Austin's enormous, annual SXSW, but that hasn't happened...yet!Supercheese wrote:PAX East, ah, I can't make that, bummer.

I'm surprised and frankly a little saddened that you didn't write a program to automise the design of the PAX booth!
Anyhoo, good luck with PAX, I know it'll be a great success - how could it not be with your product? Make sure to take and share lots of pictures for those who live too far away to attend (hint - booth girls! Ahem).
Also, updating the Factorio Development Explained in gifs thread - would be most welcome, it always gave me a good chuckle and it's high time it was updated! I won't accept any silly excuses like we're too busy fixing bugs!

I hope it also gets an auto-queue function for infinite research. Because that is the most annoying thing of them all.
... also don't forget a "pause research" button. It would be nice to have that as well. Then I don't have to run through half my factory to hit a powerswitch.
Oh... and by the way... Tell Twinsen he should add a circuit network signal output to labs to determine if a lab is researching or not.

There's a mod out there already called auto-research that is almost perfect. If 99% of that was reused for the base game it would be awesome!

Also, it would be super useful if the search function of the tech tree was a lot more noticeable. It wasn't until I used the auto-research mod that I wished there was a search in vanilla, then someone pointed out there is. That little button is so small I managed to play 500 hours without ever seeing it.

Really really stoked at the idea of a native Research Queue. Yay!

I love how your booth has dedicated joint rolling zones. It's the only way to play.

I'm coming from Australia to PAX East. Super keen to see you guys there.
Any chance you'll be selling merch?

There is a bug in the isometric image of your booth space . 4 items are missing !!
Re: Friday Facts #232 - PAX, Bugs, Graphs
You should definitely include an inserter into your booth which will pick up visitors and put them in front of a computer to test the game, and then out when their time expires

There is one topic that I'd like to hear about.can't think of anything to write about
Re: Friday Facts #232 - PAX, Bugs, Graphs
Just curious, is the toolbar update from FFF #191 still on the radar? Because that sounded (and still does) like a great improvement.
