[1.0.0] Crash driving around destroying nests with tank: renderSpriteDrawOrderRange

Post by rez »

I was driving around with the tank and destroying nests, and the game crashed. I did the same thing again and the game crashed, but at a separate location.

I'm completely modless

I forgot that I didn't have any driver updates due to a reformat a few months ago which probably caused this. I've updated everything and will get back to you; however, here is the .dmp just in case it's not driver related.

Thanks for the report.
The crash dump doesn't match the crash log, but I am afraid your computer is not completely stable. Hopefully the driver updates fixed it, but it might be due to overclocking (CPU and/or RAM), or insufficent/bad power supply, or something else might be wrong.

It still crashes even after driver updates on everything. I've built the computer myself and it has been extremely stable on every other game, so I'm just confused on why Factorio would be unstable. I haven't even touched overclocking (it scares me to attempt it), but I'll try to keep diving in and trying to figure this out.
