[1.0.0] Crash at Random Intervals

Post by Jyrden »

Playing in 1.0 on a fresh game on default settings. No mods have been installed. I've not been able to determine the exact point when a crash occurs as it seems inconsistent. Most recent log and dump files follow:

Both of those crashes are in random locations which makes me say hardware issues on your ends. Someone else had the same kind of issue and found that forcing their GPU to have high load made it stop crashing - which says driver or GPU hardware issue for them.

They were able to get it to stop crashing by switching their power-savings mode from 'balanced' to 'high performance' in windows. I don't know if linux has the same feature somewhere.

That, or it's the age-old Ryzen CPU bug with needing to update the BIOS and chipset drivers.

In any case; there's nothing we can do about these - the issue is on the hardware side or the driver side on your machines.
If you want to get ahold of me I'm almost always on Discord.

Thank you for the reply, i will look into it.

Edit: Thanks for the advice, I changed my pc to High Performance power plan , as well as updated my BIOS to the latest version, and so far no problems what so ever.
