[16.22] Crash, boring log

Place for things which are bugs but we have no idea how to solve them. Things related to hardware, libraries, strange setups, etc.

[16.22] Crash, boring log

Seems different from viewtopic.php?f=7&t=57620, but you never know :)

Game directly crashed to desktop this time. No bug report in console. I thought it might be related to autosave given the timing...

What extra info should I provide?

This is probably the most bizzare crash I've seen to date. Is this reproducible?

Is there an achievement for that? ;-)

It certainly didn't happen again, I've played for a number of hours since (from the autosave). Normally factorio is rock solid, even the 'experimental' branch, just the other day I had two crashes in a day. Let me know if there is anything I can do to help debug!

This looks like you’re running Factorio via a wrapper script that calls Factorio in line 4. Are you?

Not really. I use a command line "script" to resize my 4k monitor to HD (for performance), run factorio, and switch back to 4k afterwards (you can see the line at the top of the log).
path/bin/x64/factorio is simply the normal binary.

I have to admit I continued playing so I don't think I have the save still, sorry! :-S. Should have copied it somewhere (although playing from the save did not reproduce the crash, so not sure how useful it would be...)

Since it's such a weird crash that happened only once, I'm inclined to call this a hardware issue. If it starts happening again in some sort of reproducible way, then definitely let us know.
