[0.13.20] Crash on update from 0.13.19

Place for things which are bugs but we have no idea how to solve them. Things related to hardware, libraries, strange setups, etc.

[0.13.20] Crash on update from 0.13.19

Post by Mike Rosoft »

On starting he game, I got a message asking me to update. After finishing the download and restarting, Factorio crashed. (Then it restarted again and reported that the update was successful. Is there a way to verify the game integrity? Should I re-download and re-install the game?)

The error seems to be quite random. You shouldn't need to check the integrity, the updating process itself checks crc's file by file when it is updating.

I was more worried that the update process itself was interrupted in the middle. (I assume that there's a check for that as well.)

Thanks for your help.
