Ideas for an expansion of the enemies:
New Sizes:
  • Titan - 2x the size of a behemoth, much slower, way harder to kill.

    Colossal - 10x the size of a Titan, pretty much never spawns, nearly 100% resistant to everything, moves hilariously slow, requires an entire new spawner just for it; Audio notification when spawned.

    Micro/Tiny - 1/3rd the size of a small biter, 1 HP, insanely fast, no resistances. Spawns several times more frequently than normal biters. cannot be used to expand new bases.

New Types:
  • Hunter Biter - Actively hunts the player, spawn very infrequently and only around mid-game; Bright orange with white stripes, can have size modifiers

    Floater - Neither biter or spitter, but a new bug altogether; floats with the wind and can cross water. uses jets of poisonous gas to push itself in the direction of anything a biter would normaly attack; causes electrical damage if it collides with anything thats not an alien. Can have size modifiers from small to big. ; dark colors with bright blue tentacles, cyan/green gas jets. Inspired by C&C Tiberian Sun's Floater.

    Suicide Biter - A rare biter that comes within 4 meters of any player/player placed structure and violently erupts in an explosion that deals 400 damage across 20 meters. DAMAGES OTHER BITERS.; Marbled black and yellow. Can have size modifiers up to medium.

    Biter Tunneler - A biter that actively digs tunnels towards player structures and stops a set distance after walls, tunnels can be used by other biters to enter the base.; slightly transparent carapace. cannot have size modifiers.

    Shield Bug(names?) - Provides a shield that stops all damage to all nearby biters/spitters, you have to kill it first or it will allow your base to be annihilated, cannot have size modifiers; bright purple with dark red spots

    Brain Bug - A "Controler" unit that follows squads of biters/spitters and takes control of them, giving them a better AI while it lives allowing them to use advanced tactics like defense testing and complex military manuvers. Can have size modifiers all the way up to Colossal, size increases number of avalible units and range of control by a logarithm if possible. actively tries to run from/avoid the player and keeps its distance from turrets.
    [ Small - 10 meters, 10 bugs; Medium - 100 meters, 100 bugs; Big 1km, 1k bugs; Behemoth 10km 10k bugs; titan 100km 100k bugs; colossal 1 megameter, 1 million bugs]

    Flamer Spitter - a short ranged spitter that fires short bursts of flames.

    Centipede - a several meter long tank with a really weak mele that does poison damage, but moves as fast as a train.

    Passive wild-life:
    non-hostile aliens that try to run from players and biters, turrets do not target them.
New Mechanics:
  • Biter Metabolism - Biters, Spitters, and other all hunt down passive wild-life(including fish), trees and water, they then bring this back to the spawner and insert it, the spawner "metabolizes" this into a new enemy. Artifacts left un-recovered can be metabolized to boost evo-factor or provide random bonuses like increased resistances or decreased spawn time.
PC is best.

Love the tiny, Hunter and floater ideas.

Tunneller would imo have to be size-limited, medium or smaller only can fit through. Dont want to see a trail of behemoths in my base :D
Shield bug could just be one big bug with no attack but LOTS of health in front of the rest. Added bonus, call it a Motherbug and have it spawn microbugs XD

Also, passive wildlife would be cool. However it's already a pretty intensive game and that many more calculations might make it difficult to run on low to average pc's.
