Hello,

I have a wish for a mod that allows for logistics connections between a space platform and the planet it's orbiting.
Alternatively, similar to the Space Exploration mod with the space telescope, it could operate on a dedicated channel to ensure the logistics are always connected.

The Case:
My issue arises when my giant spaceship returns from outer space to Nauvis carrying 30k+ Promethium Asteroid Chunks. The ship uses these chunks, combined with Biter Eggs, to produce Promethium Science Packs directly onboard. It then sends the science packs down to Nauvis.
I don't want the Biter Eggs to hatch on the ship, so I’ve implemented a rule: if Promethium Chunks = 0, the ship dumps the eggs into space (at a rate of 60 eggs per second, until the belt is empty).

This prevents biters from spawning, as Nauvis is filtering out old eggs, leaving only fresh ones. This gives me 30 minutes of egg time to produce science packs, consuming 126.8 eggs per second.

The specific Issue:
The problem occurs when the ship returns to Nauvis and requests 500–10,000 eggs from the planet. The rockets deliver 500 eggs per rocket.

On the Space Platform, inserters place the eggs onto belts that lead to the science production line. However, this creates a situation where the ship never leaves Nauvis because it continuously requests new eggs. With no Promethium Ore onboard, it dumps the eggs into space constantly. This results in “items on the way” status holding the ship in place indefinitely.

Wish for mod
A mod that allows me to enable/disable requests on a space platform when a specific item is missing (e.g., Promethium Chunks < 1000).
Alternatively, a system where planets can detect the ship's status and, if chunks are low, stop sending eggs.

Another potential solution could be adding an option to delay rocket launches, providing a small window (even a millisecond) where the ship isn’t blocked by "items on the way," allowing it to depart from Nauvis successfully.
