I find myself using the impassable water barriers to my advantage too much, the biters should evolve and grow some wings eventually so they can just fly over watery areas and defensive walls.

need to make so that the enemies knew how to swim, almost all.
add flying enemies separately to be able to fly over obstacles.
and underground enemies (there is already a mod)
add enemy turrets-worms that can move underground

Took me a small while but I made a mod for you. They should spawn from the usual spawners, and there's flying versions of each biter and spitter (I've only seen the flying small biters though) and they are able to go through water and your walls too. They won't be affected by other mods though, so special modded drops don't affect them. Also they only spawn when their normal versions spawn (so you won't see flying behemoths at pollution 20 xD).
