When placing even a very simple blueprint from map view, the placement needs to be much more exact than it used to be.
The entire blueprint is green and snapped in the correct place but cannot be placed until the mouse is in a very specific position. No errors are produced.
I would guess that the system is checking whether each component is exactly aligned to a grid, rather than just checking if it is snapped properly.
Holding down shift prevents this bug - even though there is nothing in the way.
Placing blueprints from hand still works fine.
[0.18.41] Blueprint placement from map needs to be very exact
Re: [0.18.41] Blueprint placement from map needs to be very exact.
i stumbled on a very similar and easy to reproduce bug :
- start a new game, place 1 furnace
- enter map view, and try to ctrl-c ctrl-v the furnace from map view
- a single left click cannot paste the furnace ghost as it should.
more :
- holding left-click & moving cursor does paste the ghost
- shift + left click also paste the ghost

Thanks for the report, I believe it to be related to the: building drags map in zoomed in map view bug, and is fixed for the next release.
