And as usual, Wube manages to release a hotfix before I've even recorded my update overview video!

You guys are crazy.

Finally its there!

And i cant download it.

Steam is working fine, but for work i wanna have it on a usb stick. If i click the link, it starts downloading with 30kbs (srsly) and then it stops at som epoint, also, i cant use a download accelator (like jdownloader - wtf).

Never tried to download the standalone version... now i know why. :(

Are you guys blocking downloads if ip changes?

I just DLed it from the website (17 minutes ago to be precise), took me less than 1 minute, just with a vanilla web browser.

Yo, after the Xed try im now at 200mb from 1,1gb. At around 1500kbs... (from 100mbits)

But its already goin down to 700kbs.. i hope it finishes.

Edit... 100 kbs.. its dying in front of my eyes... :(

Edit2: if they would allow download accelators (download via your personal link without logging in first) then we could atleast resume downloads.

Ill never understand why they force such restrictions, if anyone want to copy it, they just download it via vanilla browser and reupload it somewhere else.
- Its hurting only the wrong people -

Edit3: Its again broken. "Server Error" says Chrome.

Edit4: after around an hour of tryin and reloading and restarting it finally downloaded with around 50mbits.

I STRONGLY suggest changing that download philosophy, it will NEVER ever stop anyone from pirating, only ducking up the ppl who payd for this. Give ppl a private link, after logging in, which is maybe 5min valid, from what ever ip they like. Without again loging in.

In a better world, Wube could use torrents, and save on bandwidth costs...

Or just Google drive. 8€/month unlimited space/bw.

I guess they have server problems - too much downloads, maybe?

I'm pretty sure it's only "unlimited" if you're not a heavy user...

They say its on their official page its unlimited if you have atleast 5 users which pay for 8€ a month. So in worst case around 45€ a month for unlimited space and bandwidth.

Currently you can just buy one account for 8€ a month and also get unlimited bw and space.

Currently at 8tb and steady getting more.. (there are ppl with over 100TB) so its definitly working 100%. Some say the soft limit is at 150TB, but even if that is true, that is probably far more then anyone of us ever needs...

I have a bug (is this a good place to post it?)

In the introduction campaign (didn't test if it's also in main game), the overlays (when mousing over the robot or a building) in a gray box in the top right, have their text partially cut off on the right side.

So I see a gray window that says for example:

"A robot helper which survived the crash. I
reduced abilities due to internal dama"

Note how the first line ends in I (I guess should be "It has") and second line ends in dama (I guess should be "damage")

Platform: linux. Screen resolution: probably 2560x1440 (native monitor resolution, playing fullscreen)

You/we should post bugs in the correct Forum viewforum.php?f=7

Anyone know if automatic mods download is already included? Like if you want to join server X and it has Mod Y, and you, join, does it automatc download the correct mods?

That would go in the bug reports subforum. Be sure to search first to make sure it's not already reported.
There are 10 types of people: those who get this joke and those who don't.
