Hello, the new stable candidate update is here:

Note, that we also updated the scenario pack to version 0.9.8
  • Bugfixes:
    • Fixed crash when starting the game on MacOSX with less than 512MB video memory. Instead low-graphics is set on and a dialog appears with information (same behavior as on win and linux).
    • Fixed crash when using fast transfer (control click) in the demo levels 1 and 2.
    • Removed 0 iron ore resource fields in demo level 1.
    • Fixed bug in the map editor that created resources with 0 amount.
    • Fixed that mouse button action set to close gui didn't work over the gui (same for similar actions). Mouse actions that interact with the map, like mining shooting etc still work only outside of the gui.
    • Slightly better allocation of count of construction robots to deconstruct entity with items inside.
    • Fixed the allocation of construction robots to targets in some cases, mainly for containers built using blueprints.
    • Fixed twitching of animation of some entities in special cases.
  • Scripting:
    • Fixed gettile/gettileproperties method not fetching correct tile for floating point negative numbers.
  • Graphics:
    • New small electric pole graphics.
Downloadable at https://www.factorio.com/download/experimental as usual, or by automatic updater as long as you have checked to download experimental releases

Looks like the critical (and even most non-critical) bugs are dealt with. Nice Work!

Hmmm... But two parallel diagonal rails still count as a single block. That actually irks me more than any of the bugs fixed in this update.

The new graphics/placement for the electric poles are somewhat confusing for me.

This is how I placed some electric poles, and as you can see there is a space of two between the two furnaces. But with the pole being in the middle like that makes it look like there is a space of three. It's not a huge deal and probably something I can get used to, but it confused me somewhat when I was placing them because I wasn't sure exactly where they were being placed.

Hi!

Thanks for the update. I do follow a lot of indie games (The big industries are dead to me..) and I wanted to make sure to compliment all the work you have been doing. Its not only that the game is awsome, but is all the attention and information you been giving to the comunity on a regular basis.

I read your last friday post and the priority list got my attention. I think this is a great way to get the comunnity involved and to give us gammers something solid to expect. So im totaly in for the idea.

i found bugs with bitters path way. they looks strange and stupid.

and if small biter atack you you cant burn him in close.

want new more dangerous and clever bugs ) (worms?(concrete floor)) fly monsters....

@generalmek: if this is a bug report and you want to have it fixed, then go to bug reports and follow the instructions.

I was playing this wonderful game and I thought you might want to know this:
I was really far into the game, And saved it twice, But when I came back to it
later It wasn't there.
I thought you might want to know this knowing this is in alpha.
This is a great game so far, just wanted you to know.

@backspace707: the same is valid for you. I you mean there is a bug with saving, please make a post in the bug board.

Ah, I see it, it's very clear... But what is this? No 0.9.9...? Oh no, it seems 0.9.9 is never going to happen. Not even close to ever happening. Nope, sorry.

I can clearly see 0.10.0, though.
