The game crashes at 10% when loading mods

Though the demo worked perfectly for me, when I tried to play the full alpha version it always crashed on whatever version I used. Even the experimental release that said it fixed this loading error. If it is of any help I am using a Mac (not Yosemite) and have java 7. Any response would be appreciated since I am excitedly waiting to play the full version of the game.

Sounds like you probably don't have enough video RAM.

I tried that but it didn't work, but eventually I decided to try deleting the mods folder and it worked fine.

Well, as long as we have not the exact folder with the mods we can't really try it.
