Game crash while playing multiplayer (peer to peer)

Got the following error after my friend had been getting 'server not responding' messages every 10-30 seconds for about 45 minutes:

Computer froze up and after about two minutes, that message appeared... almost hit the reset button. Glad I didnt.

Log please.
But it mostly sounds like a hardware failure. Your display driver reset it's self because it was frozen.
