[0.17.4] UI scale smaller than limit

Apologies for the low res-image. When I start up Factorio, the UI scale always resets to 50%, despite the fact that 75% is the supposed minimum value for this setting.

If it helps, my native monitor size is 1600 x 900, ask any questions if needed.

Yep, still with no effect. I've set it to 100% many times both in and out of a server but it changes back to 50% every time I restart factorio.

I can't seem to reproduce the issue.
Does the setting apply when you set it? What does the gui show when you enter it again after confirming the changes?

If the setting only gets reset on restart please provide a log before and after the restart.
