[0.17.2] Trackpad not working while moving
Was trying to play a little in class today, and I noticed that when using a trackpad, I was unable to move the cursor while moving. When I then stopped moving, it took a noticeable amount of time to return to normal. This whole thing could be alleviated by pressing certain buttons, such as control, alt, shift, or any of the arrow keys, where it would take a second, then start working as normal again while moving.

This is almost certainly a hardware issue. A lot of laptops have really, really awful circuitry under the hood. Weird things happen when you do multiple things at once, because you're supposed to EITHER use the trackpad or type, and you're not supposed to be using the keyboard and trackpad in concert as any sort of interface controller.harryman1324 wrote: ↑Wed Feb 27, 2019 8:20 pm Was trying to play a little in class today, and I noticed that when using a trackpad, I was unable to move the cursor while moving. Disable the palm detection setting on your trackpad.

Hello, please post your log.
On Windows, press Win + R, type in %APPDATA%\Factorio and click OK. File Explorer should open and you should see file called factorio-current.log. If you use macOS or Linux, see paths where to find the logs: https://wiki.factorio.com/Application_d ... _directory
