Hi,

I am experiencing graphics problems in the 0.15 branch (currently using 0.15.27).

I first couldn't see any trees when I tried out the 0.15 branch. I then read online that one should try to uncheck "Enable tree sprite mipmaps". If I do so, I can in fact see the trees, but I can't see any ores anymore, so:

- with "Enable tree sprite mipmaps" checked, there are no trees displayed, but ores are displayed fine. [see screenshot 2]
- with "Enable tree sprite mipmaps" unchecked, trees are displayed, but ores are not (or are broken). [see screenshot 1]

I attach screenshots and logfile.

I am on a Macbook 2011, with a Intel HD Graphics 3000 512 MB, El Capitan running.

I also tried whether any of the suggestions with respect to general graphics problems for macs help, but they don't. Even with config.ini looking thus:

there is no difference. I am happy to provide more information or test.

Did you look here: "~/Library/Application Support/factorio" for the log?

Oh, sorry, I must have been in the Steam folder. I found the log in the directory you indicated and edited my post. Thanks

Hmm, there are no OpenGL error in the logs, that is strange.

Can you edit config.ini and change

Edit: I realized only later that I forgot to uncomment the line in config.ini so the changes didn't take effect. In light of this, I rewrote the post. Sorry for that carelessness.

Sorry, I have been on holidays and just got back to see your message.

If I change config.ini (in ~/Library/Application Support/factorio/) as you advised, and with the "enable tree sprite mipmaps" unchecked, I get

trees: visible
resources: ok

And with your changes in config.ini and "enable tree sprite mipmaps" checked, I get

trees: visible
resources: ok

This is all on 0.15.31 now.

So with the changes in the config, the problem is resolved, but I feel that the performance is also worse, but that might be a perception issue.
