[0.15.13] Show paths does not display

I've noticed that on a map I'm playing which is Rail World + extra size and richness for resources, that the show paths debug setting does nothing.

Nothing showing where biters/spitters may attack.
Nothing showing when you attack them.

How exactly can we reproduce this?

Start a map with railworld settings
F4
Select show paths setting
F4
Run towards a nest
When you get close enough, the game should show you the paths that biters/spitters will take to run towards you

It doesn't.

Strange is that with the railworld settings where the biters don't expand after you kill them?

I tested as well. New game with the railworld preset – paths show as they should.

OK, this is peculiar. The paths show for me in 0.14.23 on the exact same PC, but not in 0.15.13. I thought it was just railworld, but it seems to be with any map running 0.15.13.

I would move it to pending. The debug options are there for the developer debug anyway.

I'm going to update my graphics drivers and see if that makes a difference.

This is stranger and stranger. Graphics drivers updated.

My 0.13.20 by download from factorio.com shows paths.
My 0.14.23 by download from factorio.com shows paths.
My 0.15.12 in STEAM shows paths.
My 0.15.x by download (and regular update) from factorio.com does not show paths.

Time to reinstall it I think.

Still does not show paths after deleting the cache.

Clean install DOES show the paths.

I have my factorio install zipped up that is causing me the problem. I've removed the mods folder and saves folder, and retested before zipping it. If you'd like it, let me know (too large to attach).

Well, here we are 4 years later and it's just stopped working again. After working continuously in between, and changing PCs and laptops once each!

(It's not a Railworld this time though.)

Again, a clean reinstall fixed it.
