[0.15.16][Mac] Cannot copy blueprint string

When I open an existing or new blueprint, I press "Export to string", and using the Copy button or Command+C I am unable to copy the string into my buffer for use outside of the game. If I go to "Import string" and paste, it is there, but I'm unable to share the string outside of the game.

If you copy some text outside of the game and try pasting it into the blueprint string input, what happens?

Also, does copy-paste work at all in other text boxes (like stations names)?
