click bug after changing work space (Ubuntu)

Post by theCowofDoom »

After changing to a different work space and then back again, it's as if ctrl is constantly pressed down when LMB-clicking. It only happens if switching work spaces with the ctrl + alt + arrows keyboard combination. I've only managed to fix it by restarting factorio.

I've gotten the bug in 0.12 and 0.13 versons of the game with both 14.04LTS and 16.04LTS version of Ubuntu.

I made a gif for clarification.

This isn't a crash report, but I'll include the factorio log anyway. This is the log from a new game like the one I made the gif with.

This is a bug that I have tried to ignore in hopes of it disappearing. Very clever of me, I know. I've finally gotten sick of it, so here you go. If this has already been reported: sorry, I didn't see it.

Does tapping control and control+alt a few times, after getting back into the game not fix it?

It's a very common problem in games for keys to get stuck down. Simply pressing and releasing it again fixes it.

I really thought I had tried this. I just opened factorio to try this real quick, and it did work. I've tried a bunch of things before(like hitting and holding down ctrl) but it didn't work then. I am very confused, but I am also glad that you got me to try pressing ctrl again, since it seems to work now.

I guess I'll come back if I manage to find a situation when this doesn't solve it, I guess.
