Thanks for the report. This shouldn't happen, ore generation wasn't changed. It is possible water prevented iron placement, but that is normal in randomly generated maps.

Perhaps, but on a similar map (I tried it a couple of times) the iron appeared as usual, often just stuck in the water and the like. And here it appears far from the spawn, I haven’t looked in the north yet, but the nearest one begins to appear only in the west, more than a kilometer away (approximately, I count on the rails)
