Re: crash while idle in Nullius
fwiw I updated all mods just 1 or 2 days ago.
Re: [1.1.74] crash while idle in Nullius
This is the third non reproducible crash on this machine, so likely a system stability issue.

Loewchen, how would I go about determining the cause? No other app crashes, graphics drivers are up to date...
Re: [1.1.74] crash while idle in Nullius
Just normal hardware debugging, remove any overclock (including XMP), loosen memory timings, decrease frequencies, increase voltages, swap hardware...

Uh... well heck, I haven't done anything to the box like overclocking or that other stuff you mention.

Factorio is also more memory intensive then most other things, and as such is less forgiving than others to issues with the memory. Try running memory testers, like memtest or (what I've recently seem someone else recommend) TM5.
If this is a custom built system, then also double check that the motherboard actually supports what you've installed for RAM (it's happened... 578175).
If it's not a custom build, then you may want to double check the BIOS settings for things like XMP anyway. I wouldn't doubt it if some manufacturers with some sold configurations enable this by default "for you".
