[2.0.7] Unable to connect to multiplayer (Mac)

Upon pressing "Browse public games" button in the multiplayer menu an error appears: "Notice - Select failed: invalid argument" and the server list does not load. Attempts to join through the Steam menu also result in "failed to establish communication to the server" message.

likely because our matchmaking servers were not keeping up, should be resolved in a bit

After some more testing its continuing to occur, even in the "browse LAN games" menu. I'm not sure what part of a local game requires connection to a matchmaking server but this is leading me to believe it is not related to that.

I am unable to reproduce this locally on my Mac. Is this issue still occurring for you?

This also happens to me and a few other people in discord.

I tried both macos 14 Sonoma and 15 Sequoia does not work
I tried both version 2.0.7 and 2.0.8 it does not connect

the error message is same as OP "Select failed: invalid argument" the moment i try to load multiplayer lobby.

This also happens on both steam version and standalone version so it's not related to steam account

Surprising I was able to fix this issue by deleting my mods folder. why that fixed it i have no idea.
