Achivements And Biter settings

I've started a new map, I didn't fiddle with the biter settings at all.
Then ingame it says: "This achivement can't be unlocked when enemy bases are set lower than default."
This didn't only happen in my map, a friend of mine started a map to finish some achivements but he couldn't because of this problem.
