[0.17.5] Error closes game: "Mod portal API call failed: status 404"

1. This is right after I updated the game to 0.17.5 from 0.16.51 (not entirely sure about which 0.16 version but it was up to date with latest 0.16 IIRC)
2. When opening the mod portal in game on main menu the game crashed after about 1 minute
3. I have reloaded the game and sat in the mod menu for about 15 minutes after, to see if it would crash again but I was not able to reproduce the crash

Thanks for the report. The API call failed error shouldn't be related - the log isn't showing that it was the cause of the crash - just that it happened. In fact the log doesn't show anything happened except the game was told to exit and so it did.

Maybe you just clicked the "X" button in the top right by mistake?

Thanks for the reply, I believe that this crash may have been due to something else. I posted another crash report a little bit after posting this report and one user pointed out that RivaTuner causes some instability with factorio. It may be that RivaTuner was also responsible for the crash (as it was still enabled at the time) I was describing in this post. Also now that I am looking at the log I think I may have uploaded the wrong dump, or at least the wrong logfile. For what it's worth I can go digging for the right dump if it is pertinent.
