[14.40] Chest not allowing me to open

I have been having trouble recently with chests not opening. I can open furnaces, boilers, crafting machines, etc, but for some reason I can't open them. I left-click and nothing happens, but I can do Control+Right-click to get half of the contents. I can open storage chests and passive provider chests (I haven't gotten active provider chest and the other one) I have gotten off the game and even restarted the computer, but it still doesn't work. I even started a new game to see if happened there, and I still couldn't open it. It happens to Wooden Chests, Iron Chests, and Steel Chests. I was able to open one chest, but every other one did open. I play this on Steam, and I have no idea how this bug is happening, but it is really annoying. This bug started yesterday, at the time that I am writing this. Thank you, and I hope you will fix this very soon

You are playing quite an old version, which we do not accept bug reports from any further

Please update to the latest stable (0.16 on Monday) and see if the issue persists

Thank you so much, I wasn't doing experimental versions. Opps. I will update right now. Thanks again, I have just started playing last tuesday, and I love this game so much. I am happy that is has so much content, and I think it has enough stuff for a full release. Thanks Factorio team for making this awesome game!

I have just started the game with the latest beta thingy on steam, and I still can't open chests. I don't know why.
