Are you using mods or a custom scenario?

I think something important to note, and maybe show when users connect, is whether or not it's a custom scenario. I posted a desync and didn't know that "I was using a custom scenario", because I didn't do anything other than connect and that is a pretty loosely applied term without any finite definition or simple way to determine for the end user. I can only infer that "custom scenario" means as little as changing map water settings from normal to low, because it's now customized.

Unless the server explicitly states that it's using a custom scenario, there's no way for the user to know. It could have a bunch of stuff going on in the background without bells and whistles of a custom user interface to have you wonder what kind of soft mods might be in play. Even still, because "soft mods" like that don't require me to do anything, I never considered it a "custom scenario" because my game is totally vanilla.

I was looking into the desync and it looks like there's some desync around a tank shooting at some cargo wagons.

Do you remember if anyone was doing anything like that at the time of the desync?

two desync happened when only me on server. The network is a little bad, and I described what I am doing.
The tank should doing nothing at that time.

Ok, looking into the desync more it's around the train you're driving in. The train position is slightly different between the server and yourself and there are a few additional smoke entiites in the desynced level.

I still don't know what's causing it though.
