[0.15.12] Segfault while game not focused [Linux]

Post by archerseven »

Props, guys, this is probably the longest I've ever played a game without a crash... and I'm on Arch Linux with testing repos playing the expiremental version of the game with a GPU that noone has with drivers that like to crash, so you guys are doing something very right. Keep it up.
That said, it has crashed, and I'm not ready to blame my graphics drivers (though they're by no means off the hook).

Playing a fairly long-run game with my roommate, though I was in single player when it crashed (I'd normally be running it on a remote headless server... I'll upload it back to the server when releases are less frequent.)
No warning ahead of time, I changed focus to Firefox and after a few seconds noticed sound had stopped. Looked back at the center monitor and it wasn't moving... opened the relevant terminal and saw the unmistakeable output of a segfault. (Then I went looking for source to load into gdb and remembered this isn't Warzone2100. Like I said, good job on making a game THIS stable.)

Save and log attached, system info below. Let me know if I can provide any more information, and I'll post back here if I reproduce.

Do you have any way to reproduce the crash? The log file doesn't show anything useful as to why it crashed.
If you want to get ahold of me I'm almost always on Discord.
