[0.15.17] Browse public games - JSON parsing error

Post by Geertje123 »

When clicking "Browse public games" it takes a while to load the data. I have fast internet, so it's not my home connection speed.
After a short while the box where the servers should be listed is spammed with a JSON error.
Download Failed: Couldn't parse the response as JSON.
The attached screenshot is from the previous version, but I still have the problem in the updated version.

*EDIT*

It also seems to happen when it tries to refresh. This time I scrolled to the bottom of the error.
Operation too slow. Less than 1 bytes transferred in the last 20 seconds

I'd think the cause would be something not getting escaped properly in the JSON conversion. Is the full error-causing JSON in the log file?

Is it still happening? Do you have the log from the time it happened?

I have not encountered the issue anymore, and the game only saves the current game and precious game log as far as I know, so unfortunately I can not look that far back.

Anyway, I consider this issue resolved. I will keep you guys posted in this thread in case it happens again!
