Circuit Network Read Power switch States

Post by Alkumist »

You know what would be really cool? Reading the the Power switch states for the circuit network. You could toggle belts or other things from the other side of your base!

it could be something like
if on: send "on" signal
or,
if off: send "off" signal

Already exists. https://lua-api.factorio.com/latest/Lua ... itch_state

If you don't want mods, just make a combinator clock and measure if it is changing.

from what I have found, no... they asked about controlling the switch with the circuit network.

Wouldn't it be equally simple to use the same control signal the switch uses to also disable these other devices? I mean, I ask for this sort of thing sometimes too, so I'm not judging, just asking. :)
