Breaking: multiplayer games are now required to be equipped with face masks.

I wish the character would lose health over time if he doesn't have a mask equipped in his modular armor when the pollution is too high!

Better forum search for modders: Enclose your search term in quotes, eg. "font_color" or "custom-input" - it prevents the forum search from splitting on hypens and underscores, resulting in much more accurate results.

This is the Bagger 288 or the even bigger Bagger 293 in Germany (sorry I'm not an expert on German mining equipment, but I do know it is badass). It's a massive digger and includes conveyor belt to carry the coal to the powerplants. The whole thing has a Factorio feel to it

Is that the modern factory? A ton of movable machines that are set up for a completely flexible production line?

I've tried working at several factories, most of them are like that. They just build a huge hall and shuffle machines and tables where people work around.

Of course the heaviest machines are generally stationary, but a lot of things change places when different products are required.

Also: It's not fun. Don't do it unless you've hit rock-bottom and need quick money. Best I can say about it is it's a humbling experience.

I like the attention to detail though- several of the machines have Aperture Science logos on them.

Can confirm though, an assembler is pretty much a generic warehouse structure that has other machinery constructed inside it to cut up plates into gearwheels or whatever you need it to make. The equipment gets shuffled around as needed for a steady workflow and good productivity, even if it means taking a couple of days to bring heavy lifting equipment and electricians in to move the big iron.
In my mind, Steam is the eternal king of the railway.
