Would some good soul give me a copy of factorio?
Well, the title is self-explanatory, I want to buy the game but steam doesn't accept my national currency, so why lie? I have played it pirate, but after getting to launch a rocket per minute and put preoductivity even to the furnaces I feel that I need something a little stronger: MODS so could someone do me a favor? My name on steam is tio1.jpg2 and but I don't know how games are given away.

The dreaded bolivar, the currency with the highest inflation in the world . I have access to Colombian pesos but I have no way to change them to dollars or use them on steam, would you give me a hand?

I would think your question would be more along the lines of "Does anyone have an idea how I can manage to buy a copy of the game, given this situation?" rather than "Can somebody give me a free copy?"
Particularly given that you've admitted to piracy. Your question seems to imply that someone should reward you for all your hard work in playing a pirated game by gifting you a free legitimate copy.

But I have a different problem. I want to find Factorio or something similar for a tablet. As I understand it, there is no Factorio for the tablet, but I just recently received a Lenovo 10.1 Inch tablet, took it specifically in order to play games and watch videos on YouTube. Are there any analogs of Factorio specifically for Android?

You could play with steam link or something like that.

As far as I know, there are several valid ways to pay for Factorio:
angelgandica, have you investigated all four of these options?
- Pay on factorio.com with a credit card (goes through Humble Bundle and Stripe)
- Pay on factorio.com with Paypal
- Buy on Steam
- Buy on GOG.com

I mean, gifting a copy to someone is a good way to throw money at Wube.
Especially, if the one can't legally get a copy

I agree, software theft is not nice and I don't want to reward it. (I'm also not in a position to judge it...)
It's just, that not everyone has the luck to live in a privileged country. Where is the fairness there?

Thing is, I haven't heard this guy ask for help figuring out how to buy the game.
He's only looking for someone to buy it for him.

they asked for help converting their currency, which i would gladly do; maybe just wait for OP instead of bashing them repeatedly. we get your feelings on the matter.

These are the restrictions on the ability to buy a game that greatly curtail the audience of this very game. Not everyone is willing to look for someone who can pay for it. Not everyone will look for pirated copies.jodokus31 wrote: ↑Wed Mar 31, 2021 6:30 pmI agree, software theft is not nice and I don't want to reward it. (I'm also not in a position to judge it...)
