Could use on pump pipe_picture?

Hi all, i have problem trying apply a pipe_picture on a pump (copied prototype), i dunno why but if i set it in the fluid_box the pipe_picture, will be ignored, in game there isn't chaning. Looking inside the pump prototype in data raw i see that pump don't have pipe_picture, but is "hard-drawn" on the sprite. This mean that the game not support to apply pipe_picture on prototype that haven't by default?
