Burner Assembler... it's not actually what I want, I want an alloy smelter that takes more than 1 ingredient. EG Copper and Tin to make Bronze.
but looking through the game, the only way to make a recipe in a building that requires more than one component is to class the building as an assembly machine. I mean, that's what the Oil Refinery, and Chemical Plant are, amongst other things.
However, when I try to set it as a burner power source, it throws an error.
Any sugestions?

You can try making a furnace with source_inventory_size = 2 (or however many ingredients you want to take at once) and smelting_categories set to whatever recipe category your alloy recipes are.

Re: Burner Assembler?
I tried that, it just smelts from the first inventory slot, and when that empties, the second shifts over to the first and is smelted.
I think that's the same as how multiple fuel slots work. (Like in the train)

Re: Burner Assembler?
no solution, i think it's impossible - i wanted also
i re-use normal assembler, tweak input, output, power and restrict recipes to get a near-smelting feeling.
if you would use always coal to smelt something you can add it in the recipe.
( i have bronze added in my mod - if your bobores-mod installed )
