This may be a bug and may of been reported, but I did notice this as an inconsistency.

Current research for Character Logistics Slots (CLS) as of version 0.17.66

CSL-1 50 Automation, Logistics, Chemical
CSL-2 75 Automation, Logistics, Chemical
CLS-3 150 Automation, Logistics, Chemical
CLS-4 150 Automation, Logistics, Chemical, Utility
CLS-5 500 Automation, Logistics, Chemical, Utility
CLS-6 1000 Automation, Logistics, Chemical, Production, Utility

Based on how research usually progresses, with production preceding utility, and research cost being progressively more expensive, my expectation is Character Logistics Slot research to go advance something like:

CSL-1 50 Automation, Logistics, Chemical
CSL-2 75 Automation, Logistics, Chemical
CLS-3 150 Automation, Logistics, Chemical
CLS-4 250 Automation, Logistics, Chemical, Production
CLS-5 500 Automation, Logistics, Chemical, Production
CLS-6 1000 Automation, Logistics, Chemical, Production, Utility

The developers want Production and Utility to be the same rank, and the more sophisticated logistic system is unlocked by Utility, so that part seems correct.
