Can't add more icons to the quick tool bar
Why can't I add more things to the tool bar? There is clearly space to add it.
Please call me simply Sandro.

The max amount is 12.

Then the bug is that the GUI makes it look like 20 slots.

I see 20. Why can't we increase it to 20 anyway?

I agree. If you show us 20 slots, let us use them. Or fix the display so only the 12 slots are shown.
Re: Can't add more icons to the quick tool bar
Unless I'm missing something the display is based off the widest text in the list of items.

Sure. But at the bottom it shows squares for empty icon spots. It should only show 12 spots with the rest left blank.

I think @OPs point is valid. Sure, it behaves like you want it to, so it's not a technical bug, but a design flaw. I say +1 to un-correlate the width of both windows if there isn't supposed to be a correlation. Also the space between the shortcuts and the weapons bar isn't used by anything, so giving people the option to use more shortcuts wouldn't hurt anyone.

Well, worst case: get rid of the weapons bar. It's in the way there covering the signals / logistic network content when hovering over something with the mouse anyway.Bilka wrote: βMon Aug 26, 2019 11:06 ameradicator wrote: βMon Aug 26, 2019 10:32 amAlso the space between the shortcuts and the weapons bar isn't used by anything

On that topic though, what happens if a mod creates 10 more alerts? I'm guessing that alerts can't stack in two rows. Would be kinda nice if all the button bars had a consistent style/spacing. Or is that part of the gui already "done"?

Re: Can't add more icons to the quick tool bar
Then alerts cover the ammo slots, which can be annoying when you are desperate to put some of that ammo into a turret during combat !
(Which is exactly when you are likely to have the most alert/robot icons !)

Ammo slots should just be links into the inventory. And you can also put a link into your quickbar so the ammo slots don't even have to be visible and you could still put ammo into your turret.BlueTemplar wrote: βMon Aug 26, 2019 4:20 pmThen alerts cover the ammo slots, which can be annoying when you are desperate to put some of that ammo into a turret during combat !

Because your pistol only has a 1000 rounds magazine and then you need to manually reload?Rseding91 wrote: βThu Aug 29, 2019 4:34 pmNo.mrvn wrote: βThu Aug 29, 2019 10:08 amAmmo slots should just be links into the inventory. Or what else is the point of having a dedicated inventory slot for the pistol?
