TL;DR Make ghost placement of undergrounds behave the same way as placing corporeal undergrounds.
Whenever a normal underground belts or pipes are being placed, the "second' placement orients properly--in other words the first is the "input" (going underground) and the second orients itself as the "output" (coming above ground).
However, when placing a ghost underground belt or pipe, the second placement maintains the original facing. This makes placing ghost undergrounds tedious. It becomes MOUSE1-R-R-MOUSE1-R-R-MOUSE1-R-R-MOUSE1 ad infinitum.
Related, it would be nice to be able to run and place ghost underground at max-distance. Currently it spams the input at every tile.

Re: [0.17.34] Placing ghost underground belts and pipes don't orient properly
Hello, we have a card in our todo, to give ghost building the same possibilities as with normal building (The thing you mention here, rotation, fast replace to change direction etc).
But it is not really a bug, but a feature request, so I'm moving it to not a bug.
