Zoom doesnt completly work when using keys

I am not entirely sure of the terminology for all this stuff and far as I can tell this hasnt been reported.

Maybe its better to just say what i did.

How to reproduce:

Change the control for zooming in and out to the keys ',' and '.'

Enter map view (press m)

Result:

You can not zoom in to the level where you can see the actual individual buildings etc. You can zoom in and out but toy cant transition between the two views.

Hello, you have to rebind "Alternative zoom" for that to work.

Ok thanks, that doesnt feel very intuative and I cant think of a reason why you would want to be able to do that.

I had assumed that alternative zoom was so you could have a key binding and a mouse binding.
