With the ability to add the train signal to the circuit network, it's really helpful to make crossing gate and control how the trains react based on logic. However I've noticed a strange issue when connect a flashing signal up to the circuit network, it continues to out put a green signal (or red if make it so it turns red in the circuit network) even though it's cycling from Green>>Yellow>>Red. I wanted to turn this flashing into a simple clock, but it seems to be only a graphical disguise.
Here's what I mean, The light reflects any signal passing through, so if it turns red, it'll be red. As you can tell the signal is yellow, but the light is still green. Even highlighting the power pole still shows a constant green signal output even when the train signal show it being red or yellow.
Dang, just when I thought I could use a flashing signal for a simple clock
EDIT:
This also would effect chain Signals as well.

That sends the current state of the signal to the circuit network - close signal can turn the signal to red, however you can't force it green or yellow.

It's strange that it sends anything at all.
Signal is not on rail and in invalid state - it shouldn't be sending anything at all.

Oh, I read that wrong. I thought he wanted to use the signal as a clock. There's still some questionable behavioor here though.

You did read it rightJap2.0 wrote:Oh, I read that wrong. I thought he wanted to use the signal as a clock. There's still some questionable behavioor here though.
I would say that even if color would change as OP expected it would still be questionable behavior.

You're underestimating my stupidity . I thought that he wanted the signal to display the colors. Exactly like how it already was.orzelek wrote:You did read it rightJap2.0 wrote:Oh, I read that wrong. Thanks for the report however that's working correctly.
The rail is "open" - nothing is blocking it or reserving it. The visual state is purely for you the player to see it's not connected to any valid rail.
