Lights and belt flickering when zoomed out

I couldn't find any resolved for this, and it's not exactly a glitch, I'm not sure what to put it under, but:

When I zoom out all the way, (not going into map mode, just the normal view) all lights and the arrows on the belts flicker extremely quickly and it's quite disorienting. I've been able to recreate this in different saves to double check, and the flickering goes away if you're on any zoom level besides the maximum zoomed out view.

Edit: almost forgot my specs

GPU: Nvidia GTX 1070
CPU: I-7 4790k
16 gb razerjaw ram
1 tb hard disk drive
Running factorio in my primary monitor as always
Ethernet cable internet connection (not sure it'd be relevant as I'm playing solo)

Running version 0.16.1 in the latest version of steam

Thanks for the report however that's working correctly. It's a graphical quirk of how fast screens can switch between on and off for a given pixel.

Hmmm, would it be able to be removed or disabled?
I don't have epilepsy or anything, but I now have to avoid zooming out all the way because the flickering is so... disorienting, it just makes everything really hard to look at
