[10.0.6] very fast belt and low robotic arm problem

we we use very fast belt (the blue one) and, on the other hand, on this belt low robotic arm (the yellow one), the arm didn(t arrive (or arive after lot of try) to take one item on the belt.

I think it's a bug, because even if belt it very quick, arm should be able to take a item on it, all time.

It's intentional I think. Upgrade to blue inserters will fix the problem.

yes, with blue it's ok, but when we don't need blue it's a waste of power.

But you *do* need blue - the non blue ones don't work with express belts.

This is not bug bug game mechanics.

It makes sense, that when the robotic arm is slower it just isn't fast enough to grab so fast moving object, unless the belt is blocked.

Moving to not a bug.

PS: If you are so super-crazy about minor power consumption,
you might use splitters to temporarily reduce belt speed. That doesn't cost electricity.
