Unable to place signal along track
Unable to place signal along track
In this blueprint I am unable to place signals for trains going northwards in the middle lanes for some reason. It looks like there should be sufficient space and there are no other signals nearby.

Re: Unable to place signal along track
Can you please post a picture demonstrating the issue?
Re: Unable to place signal along track
Not OP but:
Left and rightmost of the middle rails are only one way even though they connect to unsignalled rail. Not sure if bug? Even adding a signal by the red arrow does not make all lines two-way. Pretty sure is bug.

Re: Unable to place signal along track
I think the main issue is the sheer number of segments the junction itself has, which could be confusing the track-direction algorithm.
Re: Unable to place signal along track
I don't see any bug there.
You can't put signal on the junction, which is correct.
The direction limitation based on direction of neighbour segments is limited to distance of 3 blocks.

To make sure, we are all talking about the positionskovarex wrote:I don't see any bug there.

?Re: Unable to place signal along track
I am at least I seems strange that placing a signal in the top left would only make the two leftmost rails bidirectional. I'm not really sure what kovarex is referring to as "blocks" in this case, to me that is a bunch of connected rails bounded by sgnals, but that makes no sense here. Is this perhaps related to this report? Or are there some kind of rules for this that are hidden from the player?
