[0.15.1] Train disappears from Map View

If zoomed out in map with no radar coverage and not close by, basic train representation is visible, if you zoom in, the train disappears from the map view for 0-5x zoom levels.

yeah i'm having trouble tracking down a train stop on a friends map. with many stops on the map together i can't read them.
if i zoom in the stop names are not visible. i don't know if its a bug, or there is a setting i'm missing. [edit] see post below.

go to your options/controls. change "Alternate Zoom In/Out" to something else. ctrl+mouse wheel up/down works good for me.
you will then be able to zoom in to get normal map views back with mouse wheel up/down.

Rseding: it is about zoom-to-world and extra overlays not being rendered on map that covers chunks in fog-of-war

That's currently how the zoomed-to-world view works. None of the map highlighting/overview is present in the zoomed version.

It works that way by design right now.
