[0.13.20] Non stack inserters behave as stack inserters.
[0.13.20] Non stack inserters behave as stack inserters.
I have finished all Stack inserter upgrades and I have noticed that it slowed down my non-stack inserters a bit, rarely breaking some setups involving moving Items to-from transport belts. I think it is an issue, because the update wasn't supposed to change the behaviour of non-stack inserters. Normally bonuses should only apply to them if they are moving from container to container.

There are a few stack inserter upgrades that affect both stack inserters and non-stack inserters. I think it is the 3rd and last upgrades that do it. You can read the tooltips of the "plus" symbols on the stack inserter upgrades to find out which ones affect non-stack inserters.
Non-stack inserters will pick up 3 max, i think.
stack inserters pick up 12 max, i think.

So it's supposed to wait for more Items once it has one in it's hand. It makes it harder to split rarely arriving items (example: engines) equally between two Assembly machines.Loewchen wrote:That is the normal inserter bonus.

Yes, it will wait for a fraction of a second.Gergely wrote:So it's supposed to wait for more Items once it has one in it's hand.Loewchen wrote:That is the normal inserter bonus.

At least NOW in 0.15 I get to overwrite stack size.
