[0.6.2] auto update

Post by Arakasi »

Nothing serious, just little bit confusing.

I had installed version 0.6.2 win x64.

At factorio startup I was informed that new version 0.6.4 exists and might be updated, so I confirm update.

Download dialog shows downloading version 0.6.3 but after restart 0.6.4 has been installed.

.6.3 and .6.4 were pushed out together, as mentioned by kovarex in his post.
Would be the expected behavior if they merged the fixes but not the update server's initial reply.

Not a problem from my view, as I'd rather one download to fully update, than several to inform me of specific steps.

Seems like a proper auto updater behavior to me. There was no explicit 0.6.2 -> 0.6.4 update package, so the updater downloaded the 0.6.2 -> 0.6.3 and 0.6.3 -> 0.6.4 and applied them sequentially.
