1. What did you do?
What happened?
I noticed that the inventory on my space platform (Ram) was getting full, and blueprinted a couple of cargo pods to extend space. When I click on them in my inventory and then drop them onto the rocket's inventory slots, the game makes the correct sound for them being dropped, but they vanish and are not on the ground, in my inventory, or in the rocket's inventory.
I dropped a couple of slots of inventory to ground in case the space platform core being full would prevent them from being launched up, but it didn't help. I also noticed that some items I was deconstructing on the platform stayed in "Red X" status instead of deconstructing, so it may be related to the receiving platform's inventory.
Note: There may be an "in transit" rocket with inventory that the platform core had no room to accept? Unsure. If so, it's a bug of a different nature.
What did you expect to happen instead? It might be obvious to you, but do it anyway!
I expected the platforms to go into the rocket's inventory so I could launch them.
I tried putting the cargo pods in a provider chest and having the platform auto-request them, but they don't make up a full rocket load so it wouldn't request, so I was unable to test that way.
Does it happen always, once, or sometimes?
Repeatedly. Updated from 2.0.12 to 2.0.14 and reloaded savegame, and the same thing is still happening.

Re: [2.0.14] Cargo bay vanishes when loading into rocket; possible space platform inventory error
Looks like the inserter at the bottom left of the rocket silo was taking them out.
Disabling it by rotating it allowed me to put 10 bays into the silo, which autolaunched the rocket, and ultimately let them built on the platform.
